Santa Fe River Use Attainability Analysis

Executive Summary: The purpose and reasoning for the UAA was based on the following:

  1. Separately classify Nichols and McClure Reservoirs.
  2. Create a new classified segment for the Santa Fe river from the Footbridge at Frenchy’s field to Nichols reservoir.
  3. Based on an attainability analysis, determine the highest attainable use for reaches of the Santa Fe river from the wastewater treatment facility to Nichols reservoir, and create a new classified segment for the Santa Fe river from the wastewater treatment facility to Frenchy’s field.
  4. Update designated uses and criteria for the Santa Fe river from Cochiti Pueblo to the Santa Fe wastewater treatment facility.
